Is the Galaxy S3 compatible with Bluetooth 4.1 Tech and APT-X?

I want to get some wireless earbuds for my son but not sure if it makes a difference or not what generation of bluetooth it is. Will the Mpow Cheetah Bluetooth 4.1 Wireless Headphones Sport work? Thank you.

Welcome to Android Central! Bluetooth 4.1 is backwards compatible with 4.0, so the S3 should be able to use them.
