Alright so for couple of months now i have been trying to figure out which phone to get and i decided to get the GS6 but alot of people say the battery is horrible
GS6 is the perfect phone for me but i don't want a horrible battery.
So is the battery horrible or is it not?

Horrible is one way to describe it. But it all depends on the user.

I couldn't deal with it. Had to find a charger long before the end of the day, so I stopped using it. To me, it was horrible.

My wife (who loves Samsung phones) tried the Note 5, LG G4 and GS6 edge. She settled on the GS6 edge, and is more than willing to top it off through the day without complaint. To her, it's worth it because she loves the phone. Even after seeing my S7 edge, she likes her smaller S6 edge better and is keeping it until next year. For her, it's not horrible.

Well, you must do some tweaking, a charger at home at work and car. The S7 got a bigger battery and if you are with AT&T the Active7 got the bigger battery of all , is the most expensive of the S7 line. AT&T exclusivity.

Yes it is bad. Just curiuos - why is the S6 the perfect phone and not the S7? S7 seems better at everything to me.

I use to get 4 hours SoT now I get 3 hours TOPS (have it since 8 months) my phone needs to be charged at least once a day most of the time twice a day

I've heard that the S7 has improved on battery life overall. However, it all depends on the user - do you use a lot of apps? What about taming apps, watching videos, Netflix, etc? All those things will drain the battery.

That said, I *have* heard that battery life isn't always that great for the 6; but if you love the phone and that's the only detractor, you need to consider whether or not that is a dealt dealbreaker for you. If it is, that's totally fine! If it isn't, that's fine, too. It's your choice!

I tried one time not doing anything on my phone besides a little social media and NO video watching.

Texting here and there nothing serious and about an hour of phone calls... my phone had 2 hours of SoT and died out in like 9 hours after the charger.

This phones battery is very inconsistent... a lot of YouTuber's said so as well

I just haven't had an issue with the battery. I don't stream music, but I do watch YouTube vids and fiddle with my homescreen arrangement A LOT! Lol. I also check into my email, G+, AC and news apps a lot through the day. The only time I have to charge before bedtime is if I keep the screen on all the time late afternoon and evening working with a new widget or wall.
Battery life has been about the same for me as other phones I have, or had. I also have a Moto X Pure and I would say battery longevity is about the same between the two.
I really love the S6... Surprisingly more than I thought I would.
I must just be lucky with this particular phone because I know this is not everyone's experience. And I have had an app go rogue once and drain it fast, but only once. Had mine since December btw.

Android phones are only good for 2 years max as soon as someone starts using one. That was Googles plan from the start. Hence why android fragmentation is so bad. I do own a S6 and this is my second Android. My first Android phone died exactly 2 years from when I obtained it. So get what phone makes you happy.

The battery is trash. I'm just eagerly waiting until I'm able to upgrade it to something with a bigger battery

As most people have said, it depends on the user and location. I get between 12 to 14 hours of use; mostly checking emails, texts, and listening to music. Occasionally, it can go as low as 6 hours if I'm doing a lot of multi-tasking, but I have a fast charger at my desk at work to get me through the rest of the day if that happens. The battery in the s6 is way better than my old phone, and outlasts my girlfriend's iPhone consistently.

False. False. False (and unrelated). Last three sentences I'll ignore. First three are false.

Android phones are good for a maximum amount of time that varies depending on how well the device is supported and how well you take care of it -this can range from anywhere between 1 second and many years. Google has no plans for forced obsolescence - if you can please provide proof of anything otherwise, you'll be the new god of breaking stories in the Android world. Fragmentation has to do with something that has nothing whatsoever to do with battery life - it has to do with trying to code apps that work on many different devices that are running many different versions of Android.
