I just saw 2 Pixel 2 XL at best buy and I mentioned the white one still have some blue hue but the black one screen is no blue tint at all so I don't know that Google fixed the screen on the current pixel 2 XL so if anyone just got the pixel 2 XL and do you still have blue tint?

I really like the pixel 2 XL because pixel 3 XL is so ugly and regular pixel 3 is too small for me .. if Google fixed the screen on pixel 2 XL ..I definitely consider to buy one over pixel 3.

I just bought a brand new shiny pixel 2xl from Google and I honestly can't see any issues. Now anecdotally I've heard that Google had shipped early versions out with improperly calibrated screens, and newer builds have new screens. But I can't confirm this. I'm happy with mine.

You're saying you looked at a couple of Pixel 2 XL's at Best Buy. One was "Just Black" in color, and one was "Black and White" in color. "Just Black" is all over black in color--black on the back and black on the front. "Black and White" is black on the front and black on the top 25% of the back while it is white on the edges and white on 75% of the back panel.

You say the "Black and White" one had a blue tint to the screen but the "Just Black" had no blue tint? Is that correct?

It had what they called a blue tint in off axis viewing, in other word with the phone turned sideways...It was a total non issue. You have to turn the screen to a high brightness to notice it. If you noticed it on one phone but not the other, did you have the brightness at the same level?

I am going by my phone and about 9 others I have looked at. These phone were all delivered in the first month.

I have seen similar tints in off axis viewing in every phone (Apple,Samsung etc.)I have ever tried it with.

Yes. I owned pixel 2XL and sold it because I couldn't stand looking at blue tint screen but after I saw one at best buy and no blue tint at all so ai just wondering that Google already fixed that on the new batches.

Still not quite understanding.

Are you saying you saw two Pixel 2 XL's, side-by-side at Best Buy and one had the blue tint (the black & white one) and the other one didn't (the black one)?

Or are you saying months ago you had a black & white Pixel 2 XL and it had the blue tint. You sold it. Just the other day you went into a Best Buy and saw a black Pixel 2 XL and it didn't have the blue tint.

I saw both at best buy yesterday the black one no blue tint and the white/black still blue tint.
