Is the Nexus 7 right for someone.. Not so technical?

Ah... So it is just a matter of somebody giving advice when they don't really know what they are talking about. Fair enough.

I was wondering if the Netflix app didn't really work well on Kindle devices. It is hard to judge by reviews alone as reviews usually bag on the Netflix movie selection and rarely reflect the actual quality of the app.

I originally planned to get a kindle fire as a first tablet but was waiting. The Nexus 7 came out and I went for it immediately because of the screen resolution (since then the new kindle came out with the same resolution). I discovered I had far more flexibility with the Nexus and would never have used the Kindle tablet as much as I do the N7. She can download a Kindle app and have the same feature plus so many more and can buy a Kindle book about the Nexus 7 to help. When I'm cooking I've used the verbal Ask Google feature to convert from grams to ounces, and calculate connection cooking times, etc. When my son was in Europe I could ask what time it was there and get a Google verbal response immediately. I use Navigation features all the time and keep finding all kinds of apps to use. There are so many features to explore. I'm just average techy and I'm sure I'm older than she is. I have a 16G and still 10g free so 16g is probably fine. I just love this thing.
