Is the note 3 laggy?

As the title says. My s5 can be quite laggy sometimes and I'm wondering if the note is the same?

My friend has a Note 3 and I have never seen it lag. It is a very powerful device.

I agree. I went back to my note 3 after trying out the S5..the s5 has major lag, whereas my note 3 runs smoothly

After a few months with the N3, I don't remember ever seeing any lag.

Coming from a S4 I found the same issue. Lag on them, buttery smooth on the note. Main reason the S5 didn't even get my attention (other than clues for the Note 4 specs lol)

Mine was actually lagging but found it was an app causing it. There are apps that can cause lagging. It's trying to find the culprit that takes time

Yes it can lag. My battery life is horrible too. Maybe I should reformat this thing I don't know.

the note 3 has never lagged on me. granted i haven't had mine for a few months because i dropped it but i can honestly say the note3 is still the fastest android phone on the market. i attribute that to the 3gb of ram that i feel should be standard on all android devices. as long as you keep the ram clear and kill apps as usual the phone will continue to be a beast. my wife never does that and she has never complained about the phone slowing down. i miss my note...haha

I have slight lag compared to a nexus 5. Other than that, I haven't seen any other phone that lags less...

No detectable lag on my note 3 after about a years heavy use.
I don't run any intensive games but have quite a few applications installed. No change after kitkat.
I recently rooted but only to override the kitkat SD mess.
I have more than 5000 photos on my SD card.
