Is the Note 8 going to be too big?

heared from friends.

Advantages: Support Storage expansion, S-Pen

Disadvantages: Looks ugly, like a big Pie. No Flash, Expensive, Two colors (BK & RD)

Thought flash was in with heart rate sensor? Pretty sure thats where my flashlight comes from.

Looks ugly? Never really thought about it.. but i can put an amazing case on it..

Big pie? Wth.. i cant remember seeing a square or rectangular pie..

Two colors.. again most use a case, or a skin..

*shrugs* to each their own.

Yes I've mentioned before... if you want the S-Pen... the Note is the only game in town really.
My mention of the V30 is only in reply to the V20.

Compelling phone for sure, and could be LG's best. But y'all keep underestimating the power of the S-Pen. The Note isn't just another Samsung phone. It is THE Samsung phone if you're an S-Pen lover.

This has become a Seinfeld thread, since a lot about nothing. It is confirmed to be almost exactly the same size as the 8+. Hold one and try it. There's the answer and near absolute.

Yeah I don't get the OMG it's so tall reaction. Yes it's tall, but we've already got a frame of reference with the S8+

Instead of making it slightly taller, they should have made it wider since it comes with the Spen. I would prefer a wider phone if I'm using the Spen.

As i've stated over and over again, check the dimensions of the Nexus 6!!! That would have been the perfect form factor for the Note 8. Now we know that it won't happen for the "8" or the "9". I'll be waiting for the "10".:p

You might be waiting until you can make your own from a 3D printer.

Or just keep waiting...

In the meantime I'll be enjoying my Note 8, then 9, then 10...

You'll be paying about $1100.00 for the N8, about $1200.00 for the N9, and so on. In the meantime, i'll be enjoying my S7E & my Nexus 6P, plus all that money, that I didn't have to spend, just to impress people.

Well that escalated quickly 😆

Everyone should buy the phone they want. The cost is subjective. Not everyone is broke like me. 😂

If you were a billionaire or had multi millions, would you design your own smartphone for personal use?

I would. It would be like the Note 4 on steroids. 6.3 inch infinity style screen with not a lot of bezel, FLAT, it would be flat like the previous Notes.

It would have IR blaster, removable battery, IP68, Micro SD slot, wireless charging, and dual camera and 8gb Ram.

I would also have my own cases designed for my phone too.

If I were a billionaire, my phone would be so far down on my list of priorities, it wouldn't even be a thought. People don't become billionaires bye playing on their phones all day.
I would just buy the ONE phone I wanted and go full Monty and just buy another if it breaks. Correction, pay someone else to stand in line to buy another one.

I think that a device designed for -- you know -- NOTE TAKING should be bigger. I just wish the extra size would go toward width.

I like the curved screen, but I do agree that a phone designed for NOTE taking should probably have a flat screen.

I frugal with the rest of my stuff. My $300 laptop is 2 years old. My 24 inch tv is about 4-5 years old. No cable or internet. Frugal on DVD buys as well (when nothing's on tv). My 3d blu - ray was on clearance for $79.99, so I could mirror my Note 5.
My phone is my main entertainment.

The Note brand is no longer what it was. It's now a multi media phone trying to compete with the iPhone plus model.

Before everyone jumped on the phablet bandwagon, Samsung could go all out with theirs. Now they're trying to keep up.

As of last October, Trump was still using a Galaxy S THREE! He has all that money and using a phone that came out in 2013 still.
