I own the T-Mobile branded Note8 that I purchased from Samsung Direct some 8 months ago and the device runs as well as it did when I unboxed it...no lag or slowdown. This is my very 1st Note and it is hands down the best device I've owned to date and I've had everything from the old style Motorola-green-army-man-walkie-talkie type to LG V series and everything in between. It's truly a magnificent beast and money well spent in my humble opinion.

I am currently on the S8 and saw TMO dropped the price on the Note 8. Is it worth the up grade? I can jump next month. Thx

Yes! I got my Note8 April 19th. Ordered from Best Buy. I got $350.00 from Verizon and another $100.00 off from Best Buy. So glad I kept checking BestBuy.com. My monthly phone payment is $20.25.

Impressive it's holding its value 8 months later while S9 is being discounted months sooner after launch. Guess shows the Note is a solid device.

Not really. Their marketing is weird. Often the best deala are early.

Count me in too as a yes. I use the stylus all the time. When I need a quick handwritten note it is so handy. I think it's the perfect size too.

Definitely worth it. Had mine since launch and cannot fault it, it just keeps chugging on, no problems and Multitasking like a beast

I'm sure it will, I sold one of my N8 to a friend that had an S7E and he says they are night and day, obviously one is a Note which sets it apart to begin with but besides that it should still feel like quite a leap

I think it is worth it. But if you haven't gotten the note8 yet and can wait I would check out note9 when it comes out. Unless you just more interested in the note8.

The Note 8 is a good phone and possibly one of the best out there, but I would wait for another 6 months and get the latest and newest phone. The Note 8 probably won't ever see an upgrade to Android P, so wait and see what else comes up and go with the best of the best. I recently switched to an iPhone and love it. Like I said, the phone is great but the lack of updates from Samsung killed it for me.

It should be on sale for less than the S9 plus by now but for some reason Samsung seldom discounts old models early enough to encourage a purchase.
