I had the iPhone 7 Plus before and yes overall the note 8 is better but for me, the iPhone 7 Plus is still better in some areas such as:

[ ] Imessages
[ ] Force touch (love the integration into apps like long pressing phone will bring up favorites, keyboard lets you scroll, maps let's you navigate to work or home, settings will let you select commonly used items like Bluetooth, Wi-Fi etc)
[ ] Portrait mode does better at background blurring than live focus when trying to use on a person
[ ] Fps is in a better position
[ ] Apple has better privacy policy
[ ] Updates direct from manufacturer and immediate on all compatible devices
[ ] Can get a warranty replacement same day in store.
[ ] Number of notifications tag for all apps stock (note 8 has third party options too)
[ ] Siri vs Bixby... Nuff said.


There are of course lots of things that the note 8 does better than the iPhone 7 Plus but I wanted to emphasize what I preferred about the iPhone 7 Plus.

Well, I'm very happy with Android and the Note 8 is an awesome phone. it's just a preference kind of thing. No one can answer it for you.
Just keep this in mind (as one who's been through it). If you've bought a ton of apps, you get the joy of buying them all again! That was the worst part. Well, that plus getting away from iTunes with all my purchased tunes.
Still, I will say, Android is so cool if you enjoy customizing and using the phone and software the way YOU decide and not how Apple tells you.
Both systems are great and work. Just a preference thing.
