Is the Pixel still worth getting?

Just an FYI - Pixel XL 128GB currently $640 at Verizon. That's the same phone you get from Google btw. And it's brand new, not refurb.

It's a perfect time to get one indeed! I got my 128GB for $0 with a contract which didn't exist when the phone came out in October. Given the support calendar, it's still a great buy (and you'll get Android O and P when they come out).

A week in a half in with a 32GB from a VZW store and im in love with it. Previously had a S7 Edge. Took some getting used to but it speaks for itself.

A little over a week in with a 128GB XL from Verizon. My Nexus 6P had lost a lot of battery life. The XL is basically the same size as the 6P, but actually easier to hold on to. Battery life has been stellar. And I shouldn't have to worry about space. Overall still a good deal, for about 2/3 of what the Pixel 2 XL will be.

Yeah I was on the S7 and it took some getting used to so I can imaging after having those edges!

the edges were easily forgotten once I saw how fast the pixel was. Battery life makes me so happy lol

Still a great phone but I think the answer changes since the original poster asked. It's been a couple of months.
