Is the S5 the perfect size?

Its one of the best phones on the market right now. Light and easy to hold.

Every phone I've owned has been the "perfect size"....until the next one. Just a matter of getting used to it.
I have a Note3, never thought I would own one due to it's size.....it's perfect now.

I totally know what you mean. I LOVE the size of the S5 but now find myself intrigued by the Note, which I used to think was bigger than I'd ever go.... I'm curious to see what the Note 4 brings now!

So, I guess that that makes you 'phone curious?'

Coming from the iPhone 4s, my Galaxy S5 is a delight! It is so much lighter and thinner in my pocket, I don't even know it's there. However, if the screen size was slightly smaller, say 5.0", then I would give it a perfect. I use it often one-handed.

Although I did like my Note 3, I went with the S5. The Note was just a touch to big for my preference.
Anything in the 4.7 to 5 inch screen size seems to be about the sweet spot for me.

I really like the S5 so far. It could even be love. :-*

I had an S4 for about a year, and there were a number of quirky things I hated about its. The S5 is MUCH better, faster, and I'm loving it so far. The size is great. I will be using a Sedio case, and it a shame to case this phone because it feels so good in the hand, but I know I'll bounce it off the pavement if I don't.

I have a Galaxy S which served me well for 3 years, albeit it had a terrific appetite for batteries because with that model, we could not turn OFF the bloatware.

The screen size was too small for my eyes and my large hands. But I made do with it until the creme of the crop came along and enticed me to turn loose of my hard earned cash.

The S5 won out.

A friend has an S4 and while I can get along with it, it just does not strike me as one worthy of me upgrading to. I skipped it and waited for the next one.

I own A Galaxy S4.
I found it too big to wear with ordinary sized pockets, if I was active. So I made sure my new pants had an outsized pocket.

So be it.

That's why I can't get a 5 inch plus phone now, I am no changing my wardrobe to fit my phone. My phone should fit my life, not the other way around.

No. It is too big. I have large hands and cannot reach the corners using it with one hand. The S4 is a better size for my hands. The problem is made worse, of course, when a case is in the phone. But, a case is necessary to protect the S5.

I don't think there is a global "perfect" size. Some like small phones, some like medium sized phones, and some, like me, prefer large, phablet ("palmtop") sized phones.

I've been using a Note 2 for the last two years. I love the size, but occasionally it's a struggle one handed.
I just held an S5 today, and I'm thinking it'll be the perfect balance.
