Is the speakerphone improved over the note 8?

I'm thinking of jumping from the note 8 to the s9+. The main attraction for me are the dual speakers. However, flossy carter mentioned in his reviews that the dual speakers only work for music not the speaker phone and that it's still just one speaker during calls. I don't listen to music thorough my phone speakers. But I am on speakerphone with phone calls all the time. Is it the same as the note 8 during phone calls or is the s9+ louder?

I have the nine plus I had the note 8 before that. I noticed a nice Improvement in the speakerphone as well as a sound quality in general overall.

Yes it was a significant improvement... In speakerphone and speakers in general
