Is there a benefit to Nova Launcher or Nova Launcher Prime?

I was reading elsewhere that this is the app Android users should be using but I could not find the exact reason why exactly? Is it a gimmick or a usable app?

There isn't "A" benefit to using Nova. There's a bunch of different features that different people find useful. Personally, Ilike the gesture functionality... having an icon for google messages for example which opens Facebook messenger if you swipe up and WhatsApp if you swipe down.

But if you're one of those "I just use my phone how it came" types who doesn't like customisation, there's probably very little there for you.

Its not a gimmick , you can further customize your launcher over stock and has some nice features.

though I do not use nova, I use another, but the biggest benefit is the customization. You can create your own unique look. Something you cannot do with the oem launchers.
