Is there a code that htc has to open the network thingy, so that I can enter the unlock code

So I have a htc one m9 thats locked to tmobile. I would like to change the carrier by unlocking the phone however the network code thing doesnt come up once I put in the other network sim and power on the phone. I saw that there is code for samsung.

Then you probably used a SIM card that uses T-Mobile networks. A lot of prepaid cards use T-Mobile network. In this case, you don't need the unlock code. If you want to unlock your phone, borrow an AT&T SIM card.
