Is there a list of when 4G will be available in certain areas??

I'm absolutely shocked and insulted that Rochester and Syracuse have 4G but Buffalo, which is way bigger and has more around doesn't have 4G, so lame!

Dude my town is tiny. We got it this week. It's not about size. They're probably just Dolphins or Patriots fans. You guys are never gonna get it.

There's one a tower or two here in Toledo,Ohio but I was only able to get a few bars of it and then it switch back to 3 G

Because of this thread I downloaded the Sensorly app and found I have 4G in my little town in Oshkosh, WI! Yeah way the eff out here in the middle of nowhere! And it's on no lists, and it works! God I love Android Central

We don't have 4G in Oshkosh.....do we? I just attempted to turn my radio on, and didn't get anything from within the City Center.

Sensorly uses the on phone app to track 4G coverage, meaning when you connect to 4G, the app locates your position and updates the map. This can lead to false info when sprint is intermittently turning on and off towers while testing and someone connects while its on for a short amount of time.

That being said, lets move this to the sprint forum because it isnt really anything to do with the evo :p

I've had Sprint 4G twice in Fort Myers. Even did a Speedtest. Got 5Mbps+ down. After a while, it disconnects. I heard they are working on it. Seems like it shouldn't take so long. It's been over a week since the first time I got it here.

That is how they do it. My local sprint rep told me it will take weeks to thoroughly test and retest it, and then when it's done it will be market-wide and your market will be officially classified as 4G. It will be up and down, and spotty until then. This according to my local sprint rep so who knows how accurate it is but there you go.
