Is there a music player that can play from SD card?

I would like to store my music on my "external", or removable SD card, not the system SD card. I would also like to use a music player that can be made to find the music files on the external SD card and play directly from there. I have a Kyocera DuraForce and it's running Android 4.4.2 on the AT&T network.

Welcome to the forums. PowerAmp can. It's a really good player. It is a paid app ($5) but there is a trial version that is good for 2 weeks as I recall.
