This, and it makes me bitter. Get on it VZW! Also, the find phone stuff with the VZW ins. Assuron (sp?) isn't supported yet. Slackers.

I have a better app for finding my phone now anyway, but it's just the point of it.

havent tried the my verizon app yet.....so cant really say anything about it.

i just downloaded the mobile recovery app (mymobilerecovery.com) from the text message they sent me, and its working well for me. was able to find my phone last night.

Good news man, thanks. I tried it back in the first week or so, so good for them on getting it up and running.

Edit - Who knows, maybe I was doing something wrong back then. If you don't use the default browser the phone come up unknown, and the list they show doesn't show the Bolt, but then they have another list that does.

cool--i didn't know this was out there.
only issue with it is the inability to remotely turn on the GPS.

bought SeekDroid the other day, which has that feature.

but since this is free, it's a nice alternative.

I installed the Mobile Recovery app, but it tore through my battery (this was a couple weeks ago, and it was the DInc version, so maybe that had to do with it). Powering up the GPS every 60 minutes (max allowed) killed it.

I just installed the native version of MR for the TB. We'll see if it's any better.

You can view your Verizon bill (or any other bill for that matter), using Pageonce. You just cant pay it using that app. Awesome app though.

I paid my bill using the ThunderBolt Internet browser from the VerizonWireless website.
The site has https security, so I think it's okay.

This is not acceptable in the least. That's disappointing.

I just did it today too, and I'm at 10% over the last four hours. Not as bad as what your seeing but still sucks.

Well today I tried to push the phones battery life to the max. Left the gps on all day, unplugged for 13 hrs and 30 min. Awake for 5 hours and 30 min. Fb is set for hourly refresh. And WiFi was on for about 7 hours. And the extended battery is still at 50%

I'm pretty happy and confident that I can now leave my gps on at all times (for the mobile recovery app) and not have to worry about the battery dying before I get home from work. I don't know what's causing others to lose their battery life by so much especially with this app.

Oh and my location intervals is set at 30 min.

Yeah, it's a joke. Either that, or the GPS power management. Or both. :\
