Is there a preferred Battery break-in charging period?

Curious if these huge batteries like to be charged a particular way, or does it matter? Any problem going from 50-100%? Or should we drain to about 15-20%?

It is better to keep the depth of discharge low. So 50-100 is better.

I second the motion by dpham, deep discharge is what wears LIPO batteries. With that said, due to my schedule/use yesterday, I got it down to 18% yesterday. Oh well.... ;)

18% isn't a big deal imo so long as it isn't every day. Even if it was, the battery degradation wouldn't be huge over a year, imo. Now if you plan to keep it a few years then that is a different story. Heat also is a big killer of the battery. When I was pushing my note 3 really hard and it got pretty warm for extended periods of time, the battery capacity was substantially reduced even in two months time.

Personally, I would prefer not to drop below 30 or 40%.
