Is there a root for 4.1.1 droid razr hd that actually works?

Yes I did the OTA to 4.1.1 first then rooted using the method posted above.

Okay i have the problem of not getting the second vibrate not the one from the sound the other one doesn't occur everything else works what am i doing wrong?

From volume up + power at the same time?

Did you download the Motorola driver AND set you phone to USB debugging?

i cant seem to root my phone either. did everything i needed to, and the command prompt says it was a success, but my phone doesnt reboot or root, even thought it says it succeeded... and ideas? using droid razr M 4.1.1

If it says root was successfully done but you don't see it do a factory reset. You should then be rooted.

Don't know if it helps but I replaced the super user apk with super su and like magic.... Root. I'm now running eclipse.. It's sweet.

I followed post #281 on xda and it worked the first time, make sure you download the modified zip with swapped files.
