Is there a simple way to add a song to a playlist on Galaxy S6 edge?

On my previous phone, the Galaxy S5, I could add the song I was listening to to any of my playlists by pressing two buttons: Add to playlist and highlight the playlist. I don't seem to have that option on the S6 edge.
Do I have to open the playlist, press add to playlist, find the song and then mark it to add it?
It can't be that hard? If so, that's a huge step back!

What music player are you using?

With most that I have seen, you long-press the song, tap add to playlist, tap the playlist.

I use the music player that's on the phone. Not the Google Play Music, but the one that's just called Music. It's also a widget. I have been using it on both S4 and S5 and have been pretty satisfied with it, up until now.
I tried to long-press the song, but nothing happens. No "add to playlist" appears.

Okay, I think I found out now.
When I'm in the music player window, I have to press Cueue. I then get to the song in the list with all the other songs. Then I can long press, choose more and then add to playlist. Not as simple as before, but then again not as problematic as I feared.
Thank you for your help!
