Is there a solid cpu benchmark app?

What benchmark app will best show the cpu performance of a phone? Linpack, Quadrant...others? It seems like every time I read about a phones test data, it's inundated with comments about how useless the info is. Do one of these (or any others) provide more reliable data?

I have several on my phones. I use them all, mainly because of the same reasons. Everyone has something to say about every test. quadrant advanced, antutu, cf-bench, nenamark, smartbench 2011, neocore, vellamo, realpi benchmark, sunspider javascript. The ones I use the most are quadrant, antutu, nenamark, cf-bench. Most updated ones seem to be antutu,sunspider javascript. The most detailed and real world function testing are cf-bench, antutu, sunspider, vellamo. Theres a slew of others and this is only my opinion. I use a few different benchmarks and compare the same tests against other phones. Then I get an idea of how my phones compare to others.
