I have a 2014 Nissan Frontier that has Bluetooth calling, but no a2dp for music streaming. There is a USB port in the console that allows you to plug in an iPhone/iPod. I have a Samsung Galaxy S6.
I purchased a USB Bluetooth dongle that allows me to stream music through the auxiliary port (see link below), but I do not get song title information on the factory radio. On a hunch, I tried plugging the USB dongle into the iPhone port. I can play music via Bluetooth, the steering wheel controls allow me to skip tracks, but the song/album information displayed is just information about the dongle.
This is so much better than I had before, but I'd like to have the song/album information displayed. Is there a USB dongle that will emulate iPod and allow song/album information to be passed through from Android phones?
