Android Central Question

I used a couple of brightness apps but they don't adjust the brightness of the lock screen. I am not sure if Android doesn't allow an app to do that. The adaptive brightness setting can adjust it but I don't like it because the screen is pretty dim during the day and I don't want to adjust it manually every single day.

Is there a brightness app or another way to adjust this automatically?
I am using Galaxy Tab 8 and Android 10.

How to adjust the brightness of the lock screen without using adaptive brightness?

How to adjust the brightness of the lock screen without using adaptive brightness? The issue with adaptive brightness is that the screen is not bright enough for me during the day. I tried a couple of brightness adjustment apps. They don't adjust the brightness of the lock screen. Maybe that screen's brightness is not accessible to apps? Using Galaxy Tab 8.

Any solution?

Can you clarify if this is a Tab A? I mentioned before there is no such thing as a "Tab 8." It might be helpful for us to know which exact device you have. A model number would be best -- look in Settings>About Tablet for that information.

Duplicate threads merged. Disregard my most recent post, it's clear now that this is a Tab A -- but it still might help to know which generation/model year, so let us know what model number it is.
