Is there a way to back up the data on note 5?

Need to replace my current one. Is there a way to back it up so I don't have to reset up everything from scratch?

Download "samsung smart switch " on your current device and then on the new device. One will be the receiving device (new) the old will be the sending device.

I used that for my note 5 when I switched from the s4. No problems at all. Other than having to log in to my apps, but they were all there. It didn't save my angry birds progress,but I didn't mind starting over. All documents and pictures transferred.

You can also download samsung smart switch on your computer and perform a backup that way too. Seems to transfer everything as well. I used that for my wife's s4 to edge 6+ upgrade
