Is there a way to block a text message but not my phone calls

Getting too many text messages that are unwanted but I'd still like to get the phone calls from one

Welcome to Android Central! You could also change notifications for that particular conversation to Silent, if you just don't want to hear frequent notification tones for incoming messages.
