Is there a way to disable smart cover?

I have Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge with a Flip cover. It acts perfectly as a smart cover (hibernates when closing and starts bavk up when opening). Vut I want to get rid of it,but keep a flipcover. I got 2 ewasons for this, First of I like YouTube to keep onplaying when closing my cover. And my second reason is while filming I need to remove the cover or hold my phone akwardly. I know that for the first provlem there are other ways to solve itmbut for the seccond one I don't think there is. So Is there a way to disable smart cover options on a Galaxy S7 Edge?
