Is there a way to get rid of OK Google enrollment?

Help me, everytime I open an application on my new android 8.0.0 tablet "OK Google enrollment" pops up and arrests everything I open and now I can't do nothing

Welcome to Android Central! Which tablet?

Open your Google app, tap More at the lower right, then Settings>Google Assistant>Assistant, then scroll down and select your tablet under Assistant Devices. Turn off the Google Assistant toggle there. Does that make the message go away?
