Hi, I just got the Google Pixel XL from Verizon today, and I was wondering if if had a built-in "Private Mode" like Samsung devices do. If it does, how do you use it?

Thanks,

Christopher

Vanilla Android is something that I've wanted for a long time now. I was sick of Samsung's bloatware and slow UI. So far, the Pixel is absolutely. Yeah, it does suck that features like "Private Mode" aren't included, but there's third-party apps for it.

can you use dropbox or google drive specifically for those photos and then fingerprint protect that app ?

That's the beauty of vanilla Android. You can use any app you want to do anything you want. You're not limited to whatever the OEM gave you....I use "Keep safe" for my private pics

Most of these apps in the play store have horrible reviews and many people end up losing their data...I wouldn't trust them....

I use ES File Explorer Pro, which allows to either hide or even encrypt files and folders.
