Is there a way to keep edge lighting on when getting a text message?

the edge lighting when face down only stays on for 2 seconds then turns off. it would be nice if it stayed on til you pick up your phone.

I tested this and it does light up again. I think I timed it at 5 second intervals. So 2 seconds on, 5 seconds off and it repeats. But to answer your question no, there is no setting to keep it on constant.

thanks for the reply but i tested it too and it only lights up once then doesnt come back on again. is there a setting for it to turn on 5 sec intervals? thanks again!

No there are no settings. This is how my phone works.
