Is there a way to keep the notification bar always on or always have the softkeys on?

Like always have the notification bar on the bottom on even on certain apps that go full screen? Or have the home, menu, back and search key on softkeys always display no matter what app or where in the os I am?

I think you can change the settings to keep the soft keys open all the time. If not try button savior in the market place. The only issue i have with both soft keys and button savior is it is always on the sidebar. But if you can live with that button savoior is much better than the stock soft key.
As far as the notification bar i do not have an answer.
Hope this helps

What works best for me is setting Softkey as your default home so you can simply double-press the 'n' key to bring up softkey whenever needed (like exiting Angry Birds for example).
