Is there a way to lock your screen while watching YouTube or other live streams on other apps?

Not sure where to put this. Sometimes I put my phone in my pocket, but still want to hear the audio of what I'm watching while doing other things. Is there a way to lock the screen without any interruptions? I also have the Hulu, Xfinity, and Direct TV app to watch live programming. I know the Samsung video app allows us to lock the screen...

I have this same problem.
I have a flip case for my phone, so the only thing I can do so far is leave the screen on but close the case to protect it.

I just bought Touch Lock app, and it does the trick! However, if you press the phone's power button, whatever livestreaming apps you have opened and YouTube will be closed. I was hoping it works like Tunedin Radio or Pandora when you have the screen off, and the audio still plays. Anyway, better than nothing.

Go to Settings->Accessibility->Dexterity and Interaction and enable the Interaction Control.

Once enabled you can lock the entire phone, enable/disable certain buttons and you will be good to go!

Easy and free: Firefox

I listen to music via YouTube through my earbuds with my S20 in my pocket while the screen is off all of the time.

Start playing what ever you want to play, turn your screen off (which will pause the video), then either tap your earbud or turn the screen on (but don't unlock your phone) and tap the play button in the Firefox app preview. You can then hit the power button to turn the screen off and your content will continue to play.

Happy listening!
