Is there a way to make the skyrocket software look like the s3?

Just wondering if there is a way to put the galaxy s3 skin on a skyrocket so it looks like an s3. I like the look of the skyrocket but I like the software that comes with the s3.

Have no fear! Soon in the next couple months we'll get the 4.1 jellybean update and it will come with the new s3 nature ui. Other than that there are some launchers, but in my opinion they all just look like crap. You could root it and see if there are any roms on it.

You can wait for the official AT&T release. Or if you're feeling impatient, you can get the AT&T leak or the Rogers official release on xda.

I am not but I would definitely be willing to root to get Jelly bean on here. I searched xda but didn't see a leaked rom or one from rogers.

Those ROMs are good but i prefer mohankr's embryo 6s ROM its way better then the stock rooted ones and even has the ripple effect like on the GS 3

Agreed. I like Embryo more, too. This would be my recommendation if he was comfortable w/ rooting and custom roms.

My phone is driving me nuts with battery drain problems so I want to root it and not have to keep all those att apps. Will all the phones features still work if I do that? Will the camera still work? How hard is it to root, I was able to do it with my hp touchpad, but never tried a phone.

Samsung phones are super easy to root. And yes but i would suggest using a custom rom.

I was going to use the rom suggested in this thread. But I can't find nice clear instructions on starting from stock where I am at. I looked at all of those links plus the one that says rooting phone in 10 minutes and such but I am so lost on a nice step by step procedure to going from stock to embryo.

That's the thread I was reading

now I just need to watch the video for installing the rom. Will it be the same procedure for any rom. Do I need to install a radio? Not even sure what that means.

Ok I did the root and I am now running cwm 5.5.0.4 but that embryo thing says I need to be running cwm 6. Is there a easy way to upgrade? I don't know what the heck adb is.

Personally i use twrp because its more convenient but you might want to stick to the first one because its more familiar.

Thanks got it all hooked up. Is there a way to see screen shots of the roms that are available? I had a nice lockscreen on my phone before that allowed me to drag a circle in 4 directions to open different apps, would like to have that now some how.

Thanks got it hooked up pretty good now, still a few things that won't work right but still not bad for the price!
