Is there a way to prioritize wifi networks?

I'm an xfinity customer, and I use the complimentary xfinity wifi Hotspots when I'm not at home. Unfortunately it's not nearly as fast as my home network. I can't find a way in any of the settings to prioritize what network my phone connects to, and have to switch to my at home wifi after being away.

Your phone should automatically connect to your home network when you get back, provided your WiFi is on

I have the same issue and I haven't been able to figure anything out. Even I tell it to forget the network it seems to only forget it for a certain amount of time.

Pretty annoying that I have to switch networks every time I walk into my house.

It used to be an option in older versions of Android. Now you will probably have to try an app from the play store. There is an app called WiFi prioritizer. Or you could do it with the Tasker app which could be a bit trickier.
