Is there a way to stop OTAs after flashing?

This had previously been stock on 5.1.1 Lollipop and it sucked, just like everyone else's.

I just used NRT to flash stock 4.4.4 KitKat and relocked it with NRT.
Google restored all my apps from my google account.
Haven't really tested how it's working yet.

Google has already pushed OTA 5.0.2 to me.

I know I don't want to go to Lollipop again on this old device. Is there a simple way to turn off OTAs and to delete this pending one?

Long press on the update notification, then press App Info, then uncheck Show Notifications.
