I enjoy testing out the new roms that come out every so often, but I absolutely hate the fact that my apps need to be reinstalled one-by-one. And I don't like that my text messages vanish. So is there a way to make it so I don't have to reinstall my apps one-by-one, and a way to save my texts?

Get titanium backup it reinstalls everything for you. Awesome program. There's a backsms program for sms as well.

you can use MYbackup for your text messages haven't found anything that will install all your apps at once but if you use appbrain market sync you can at least write down what you had and then go to the website and select them all again it makes the process rather quick hope this helps

I use MyBackupPro to backup apps, data, call logs, texts, bookmarks, settings and your home screens. I run a daily backup backups so I lose very little data. I wish I had this months ago. Restoring my android home screens is worth the price for me.
