Is there a widget that can change your time zone from the home screen?

I work on a cruise ship and travel a lot, this means that I am constantly changing time zones and do not have access to cellular data/gps for my phone to automatically change my location. It is a small gripe, but it takes a decent number of steps to go into settings and change my time zone every time (twice every 4-5 days for me). Is there a widget out there that can cycle through pre-determined time zones and apply the change to the phones settings from the home screen to save me time?

Extra information: For those who are trying to suggest a way for the normal automatic time zone system to work... I live in a big metal ship... I have to leave my phone in airplane mode most of the time... also we change our time zones on a specific schedule that doesn't really care where we are located at the moment (usually 2am the night after we leave an area, even if we don't reach land in the new time zone for another 2 to 3 days).

Get the dual zone clock. Every few days you'll have to long press and change it. There are apps that require GPS continually which can do it, as well as your phone provider. Under settings, go to the clock, and make sure you have enabled time zone changes.

GPS comes from overhead (satellites) not from towers, so you do have access to GPS when you're onboard. (Install GPS Status & Toolbox and you'll see.)"

Thank you for the information but it doesn't do me much good. I have to leave my phone in airplane mode while at sea (ridiculous roaming fees), and even if that weren't the case we have to change time zones on a schedule. I really just need a widget that tells the settings app to change the manual time zone to save me some time. It's nothing life changing just would make life a heck of a lot more simple.

Thanks for the suggestion but I'm not interested in viewing different time zones, just reducing the amount of steps to manually set my time zone from many to one (call it efficient or lazy... either way)

Are you allowed to turn on GPS if you are staying in airplane mode?

Still doesn't change the fact that my clock needs to match the ship, and that doesn't always line up with when the gps reaches a new time zone. Sorry if I sound rude but GPS is NOT, nor ever will be a valid solution for my particular and very specific question.

Welcome to the forums. I think changing the system date & time is not that easy. Probably it could be changed with an app like Tasker on a rooted device, but too complicated I'd say.

You can create a widget with apps like Zooper or KWGT (paid versions) and set some rules to change the time displayed, but only on the widget without changing the system date & time.

Another possibly could be creating a shortcut to the data & time settings so it would save you a couple of taps and swipes to get in there and manually change the time zone. Apps like Nova launcher or More Shortcuts could help you to do that.

Matching when the captain changes the ships clock would have been a good detail for the original post.
No app can help you unless you're captain is the developer

very fair point... original post should have read "need shortcut to change manual time zone in widget form, no gps/no other options" a good lesson in clarity and brevity :)
