Is there an amplifier app?

I have a slight problem hearing most of my phone's sounds loud enough....Is there an amplifier app to boost the overall volume?....HJ

i use my 3vo to play music and podcasts at work and the speaker at its loudest is impossible to hear if there is the slightest noise in the room

would definitely love to know any way to help this problem

I bought a battery powered speaker that plugs into the head phone Jack. I know that is not what you wanted to hear, but it is the best I got.

there is a hearing aid option within the settings that may help:

settings----call----hearing aids----then check the box

Haven't tried this yet, but found it awhile ago. Says it works on old EVO Let me know if it works

i did change my vocoder settings and now my phone is nice and loud. the thing is getting sprint to give you ur MSL but within the thread there is a link to XDA that explains how to get your MSL without sprint but using CDMA workshop...thats what i did.

I did the change. Sprint tech blurted out the msl number without question. I made a test call. Works much better. I am hard of hearing so thus is great. Loader calls. whoot. Whoot

For the speaker, will this fix the crackling noise that it occasionally makes?

Do the vocoder settings amplify all the volume settings or just for when your making calls? HJ

Besides doing the QPST hack I'm also using this app. My 3d is now on par with my Evo 4g in speaker output.

Tell them you reset your phone and cant make calls and you need them to walk you through reprovisioning your phone. They will have you edit your MSID which requires them to give you your msl code to enter in. Write it down.
