Is there an app that auto-equalizes the music volume?

Hi,

I think this is a common problem. Some music tracks are very silent, hard to hear, while others are extremely loud to listen to (not metal) at the same volume level. Is there a way to auto correct this without changing/editing the music files? I know some receivers have this feature.
