An app that pulls Facebook events by location

Hi there!

There used to be an app called Hangtime, which showed me all local events on Facebook. For a long time now its list is empty. Is it because Facebook has cut access to such data? Any other similar app out there? Facebook itself doesn't seem to provide such an option - to browse all local events by date.
