Is there an SG3 equivalent to the GS Active Applications that was on my home screen?

Hi,
My wife and I picked up new SG3's yesterday. I got a 32GB my wife got a 16GB; her call.
On my old Galaxy S there was a small icon that I had on my home screen called 'Active Applications' which you could tap and it would take you to a screen showing running apps where you could turn them off singly or collectively.

Is there anything on the S3 that is similar? I have gone into settings and found something called Applicaton Manager but I can't find anyway to put it on one of my home screens.

Any help or comments would be appreciated.

Hold down your Home button and you can access a Task Manager.

As far as widgets go, id just download an App that does the job.
