Is there any update on 4.3 for the S3?

I had to load it on a second page then remove the first page. It was a lot of fumbling but got it done.

Does it work with a pattern on the lock screen? Or pin? I only got it to work with swipe. I like to have my phone protected.

Loaded up the update yesterday. Liking the new features and the new look. Only issues I've encountered are:


-From time to time I get a bunch of download/update indicators for pictures I have on my phone. Have to keep clearing those out, not sure how to shut that off.

Phone seems snappier though. Loving all the bells and whistles 4.3 has added, well worth the wait.

Go to downloads in your app drawer. And clear all on the bottom right.

Never tried.

The JPG thing it does delete the files but next time you download it does it again.

Clearing the list in downloads doesn't delete the file. It just clears the notification. The JPG is still in "my files" so just clear downloads each time.

It's been the first weekday morning since I've had 4.3, and my alarm goes off with the flash on it. Any one figure out how to turn that off? My ringer doesn't have the flash option with the notifications and I didn't see it as an option in the alarm settings.

I read somewhere where the setting for this is, but I don't remember. I'll see if I can find it and link it back here.

-Settings> My Device> Accessibility> Flash Notification (have to scroll all the way to the bottom to find it)> Uncheck Box.

I checked that and unchecked it (it wasn't checked by default, so I toggled it essentially). I tested it out with a new alarm and seemed OK, the true test is tomorrow morning, it's my alarm to wake up that was on the phone pre-4.3. If it still does it though I may delete and try creating new alarms to see if that fixes it.

If still not right, check the box, reboot, then uncheck the box.

What I did worked, no flashing this morning when my alarm went off. Which is good, my wife would have been mad if she woke up too.
