I just updated my Moto X 2013 to Lollipop 5.1 yesterday, and there's one problem I can't seem to fix and haven't really found a solution to: I can't seem to silence my phone without putting it on vibrate.
I have a Tasker profile that silences my phone while I'm at work, and disables vibrations. Well, now it seems that it does continue to silence my phone, but the vibration is still enabled. I like to keep my phone on my desk where I can see the notifications pop up, but now that it vibrates upon receiving a notification, my phone is quite loud in my very quiet office.
I never really want to put my phone on vibrate, so ideally I'm looking for a way to disable it completely. Is there any way to get it to stop buzzing, either with Tasker or just by itself?

PS: My phone is a Verizon phone running a T-Mobile sim card, if that affects anything.
