AC Question

I just recently got a Samsung tablet (my first Android tablet). But Chrome and Samsung's stock browser won't let me do text scaling (I drag the text resizing setting in Chrome but it has no effect, and Samsung's stock browser doesn't have that option at all). By text scaling I mean automatically increasing the size of text on webpages while wrapping the text so you don't have to keep zooming and scrolling horizontally.

It's so annoying that my three year old Android phone browser is able to do this, but my tablet can't. The whole reason I bought a tablet was to make reading easier on my eyes, but it turns out I can read larger font on Web pages on my 5" phone screen than my 8" tablet. Am I missing something?? Is there a way to do text scaling on Android tablet browsers?

I'm a bit surprised that it doesn't work on your tab. Look at your tab options for font size. It could be choosing from the sites you're visiting too. Many sites that don't have mobile versions don't translate well to mobile platforms. Have you tried any random sites just to see if the scaling is working just not on the pages you want to visit?
