Is there any way to stretch to fit a youtube video?

Not talking about the zoom to fit which crops the top and bottom. Even if I had to root my phone I think it would look better than zoom to fit.
I have a S9+

If you have rotation enabled, and you turn your phone into landscape mode (wide), you should see YouTube in full screen.

If you are looking to make a 16:9 video fully cover a 18:9 (2:1) screen, most video viewers are not going to do that since virtually no one wants to see a distorted video.

I want to be able to WATCH a youtube video that's 16:9 in 18.5:9 WITHOUT cropping the top and bottom. Basically STRETCHING it.

I really don't care about distortion. Is there any way to do this? Including rooting if needed
