Is there any way to upgrade my Sony NSZ-GT1 Google tv box to a later software?

Like is there a way to upgrade the software version(3.2 Honeycomb) on the Sony NSZ-GT1 to a later version like Android 4(gingerbread) So it would be more usable? Just asking

If its on that ancient Android version your better off getting something newer, maybe other members have tips for you .

Welcome to Android Central! FYI, Android 4 is Ice Cream Sandwich.

You'd have to hope that some industrious person figured out how to root the device and developed a custom ROM for the TV based on Ice Cream Sandwich or above. Try the forums at XDA-Developers.com or FreakTab.
