is there swype for the nexus s

Your welcome. I try to help as much as I can. I am using the stock browser and it worked fine for me but who knows. Hope you enjoy the new keyboard, if you can't tell from my spelling sometimes, I'm still trying to master swype. Thanks. If you have any more questions feel free to ask.

I've got to figure out what that lock icon it. A couple of days ago I could browse to gmail, but not now. If you find out anything about that icon please let me know. I'm on my laptop typing because my first few attempts at swype where pretty funny. I'll have to practice. Thank God I have tiny fingers, but even then I was spelling out some pretty weird stuff. :D

Hello, I'm a noob, first time Android user, Nexus S owner first post on Android Central. How long did everyone have to wait for their invite from the Swype Beta. I signed up a few hours ago and still no link. Is it closed now? Does it take a day or so?
Thanks

I got mine right away, no waiting at all. Maybe you should yet to sign up again

Do you guys have a direct link to this? On the Swype website in the forums section, it would appear that I'm not the only one. Floridapossum...if you just got it, how? Another link?

Hey Baconator, I was way ahead of you, tried re-signing up but said that they are awaiting email confirmation. I tried another email address, and still the same....waiting lol. Guess you guys got lucky. I'll wait and see if it comes soon. Thanks.

I'm on the Swype forum, and I'll post for you Spuds93, and see if I can find out something. Were you able to post on the forum?

Earlier this morning, I signed up once again and it came straight through. People were reporting a server down. All good now, I got it. Thanks for the help.

When Swype is installed...is there a way to use the stock 2.3.3 OS keyboard? Or is only the Swype keyboard available when installed.

I'm using swype right now, you can switch between keyboards if you want.
I have done it.
Swype works well.

Cheers!

That's great...any tips on how to get it on there instead of the Swype keyboard?

Long press any text field and click Input Methods to bring up a list of installed keyboards to choose from.

Thanks for the tips, I tired it out however I guess I phrased the question wrong. I want to use Swype on the stock keyboard, not just the Swype keyboard. I tried playing with the settings but it doesn't look like I can. Thanks anyways.
