AC Question

Hello, I am a WP user right now but I would like to switch to Android, I am looking for: Android apps, a good enough camera, good battery life and not a very very big phone (mine is 4.3" with a big bezel). I am considering the Moto X because it seems like it fits my needs and budget, but after some research I saw that Moto is prepating a Moto X+1 with probably upgraded specs.

I am out of Android world for such a long time so I am not sure if this is the best phone for my needs, what do you think? any other suggestion?

You are right about the next Moto X, but as far as I know, no one knows when it will be released, and I am not sure if it has been announced yet.

If you need a phone now, get the first X. Great phone, I love mine.

I actually want an X but I'm not willing to pay over $400 ($500 for the 64GB) for a phone that is about to be replaced.

Well I share the same feeling, but on the other hand Golfdriver is right, the Moto X+1 is not even announced. We can be waiting for a long time..

Thanks for your answer, how is the battery doing?

$349 on the Moto maker site. About the same price as the current Nexus.

Mine lasts me 9 hours easily on a charge. If I use it as a wifi device, about 2 days.

The $349 is only for the Republic Wireless version. If you don't want to use Republic as your ISP, the Moto X starts at $399. Unfortunately, you don't see the correct price until you hit the checkout button and select your carrier (or the unlocked GSM model).

Which I did not do the last time I checked Motomaker. However, I guess the best question for the OP is: Are you considering changing carriers, or are you just wanting to have an extra device to play with?
