Is This Battery Safe?

I bought a V20 battery & it has some dings. Do you think it is safe to use?

Probably. If the dings aren't deep enough to affect the battery's performance, they're probably only in the outer covering. If they damaged the actual battery inside, it probably wouldn't work after a couple of hours.

The surface scratch on the black coating cannot short circuit can it?
