Is This Cable OK with 'Pixel C'

I want to communicate with my Pixel-C from my laptop. Also to charge the Pixel-C in my car from a standard charger in the cig-lighter socket.

I understand there have been issues with aftermarket USB-C cables. Would the above Anker cable be safe?

Have now received and used this cable several times --it's fine. (No sparks or smoke... )
