Why do I not see them doing that? Cause verizon isn't happy if they cant stuff V-cast up your craw against your will?
The funny thing is that Verizon could totally just release Vcast on the Android Market as an app, and work on making it good enough that people would want to use it. Some of their content deals (e.g. with the NFL) have a ton of promise as a product that people would want to pay for.
But instead they permo-install the app on everyone's phone whether they want it or not, and create a lot of customer resentment. In the end they probably get less subscriptions then if they'd just shut up and concentrate on making Vcast a winning product.
