So is november 17th the release date then

Droid Pro for $179, Samsung Continuum $199, HTC Merge Nov 17, Droid 2 Global Nov 11
by Tim Barribeau on November 4, 2010

How?s that for an info dump? Courtesy of Engadget the Droid Pro will set you back $179 (apparently $279 with $100 rebate), and the Samsung Continuum for $199. They?re also reporting the HTC Merge will be available on November 17, and the Droid 2 Global on November 11. That?s all on Verizon, of course.

Wow, that?s a lot of info, and it?s good to see the Droid Pro a little below the standard $200 price point, even if it?s only by $20.

Right, time to go break open the piggy bank, and see what we can dig up!

Old news...

Sorry to burst your bubble, but that is a altered version of the actual post that was on Engadget. The actual statement was:

"We're also separately told that the HTC Merge won't arrive until after the 17th, so those reports of a launch on the 11th might be premature."

I cannot wait for the release of this phone. I am just hoping the reason we haven't heard much on this phone is because it will be a "silent release" due to it not having the DROID branding.

They were pretty mum on the Incredible release right up until the last second. Even then by the time it got in to full swing I had had mine for about 4 months already...
